PRESS RELEASE > Framework Agreement Strengthens Steelway's Position in the Utility Sector
Steelway, the Midlands based access metalwork specialists have
recently been awarded the framework for Fabricated Structures by
United Utilities, to further compliment their existing Access metalwork
framework agreements with both United Utilities & Thames Water.
The agreement comes at a time when the company have completed a
number of high profile steelwork projects across the construction
industry and are set to take advantage of the latest wave of
government infrastructure investments. Steelway have over 80 years
experience in access metalwork and have completed a vast range of
projects including stairways, balustrades, spiral staircases, heavy
duty gratings, platforms, duct covers and ladders in mild steel,
stainless steel, aluminium and GRP for the water and other utility
sectors.
Steelway have 4 divisions and 2 manufacturing plants based
in Wolverhampton and West Bromwich employing over 180 trained
engineering staff. Their technical department possesses the latest
CAD technology to ensure that even the most bespoke fabrication
can be achieved and provide a one-stop shop from site survey
through to installation nationwide.
